Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA Returns for a 7th Year!

Smartmouth Brewing’s Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA is back for its 7th annual release on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Fans of the nostalgically ridiculous brew that started the “beereal craze” won’t be disappointed as Smartmouth is also releasing two beers to join the famed Marshmallow IPA!

This year cans will ONLY be available in the tasting rooms. No stores will be receiving any cans

Saturday Morning | Marshmallow IPA ABV 6.6% / IBU 10

If you can recall weekends of watching cartoons while you separated the colorful little marshmallows from your favorite box of cereal, then this brew is for you. We tossed pounds of marshmallows into this batch, then added loads of citrusy and tropical, fruity hops. The result: nostalgically ridiculous.

Sunday Brunch | Paloma-inspired Gose ABV 7.0% / IBU 10

Sunday Brunch is a vibrant sour ale inspired by the crisp elegance of a Paloma cocktail. Brewed with bright grapefruit and zesty lime, then aged on tequila-infused white oak, it balances tart citrus with a warming bite and a subtle hint of wood. Refreshing yet complex, it’s the perfect pour for savoring slow mornings and golden afternoons.

Wolfgang | Vienna Lager ABV 5.4% / IBU 22

Wolfgang is a bold Vienna Lager with rich, toasty malts, biscuity depth, and hints of caramel and toffee lurking beneath the surface. Its dry, refreshing finish and subtle noble bitterness strike with precision—smooth yet deceptively fierce. Like a crimson-eyed wolf, this brew is both elegant and untamed, leaving a lasting impression with every sip.

All Beers will be available for pre-order on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20 at NOON on our online shop at smartmouthbrewing.square.site. Orders will be available for pickup beginning on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00pm.

Quantities are SUPER limited - first come first served. The link to pre-order the beers will go live on Thursday, February 20, at 12pm EST on our Smartmouth Brewing Store website. Last year all box sets sold out in the pre-sale period.

To celebrate the release, Smartmouth will be hosting #NostaligicallyRidiculous events in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Local food, entertainment, and music vendors will perform throughout the weekend at both of its locations.
